What’s up beautiful people and AsalamuAleikum?
I promised you that for the next couple of posts I will be showcasing different types of flower print fabrics with different designs.I love me some flower print all day every day,and honestly speaking,me making a couple of dresses that’s incorporated with these different flower prints was a way of satisfying myself more than sharing with you guys on the blog(Lol). But now that the cat’s outta the bag let’s Just conclude that I have an incurable disease when it comes to fabric hunting and shopping,I can’t seem to make myself stop!
Anyways,A couple of weeks ago,I attended my best friends’ Ruracio(Bride price ceremony) and I needed something unique to wear for the occasion. So I decided to go for this ensemble.I settled on this peachy silk fabric as the top,to add pizzaz on the top I created this ruffle details on the arm.Well the neck design is to die for as well but too bad I couldn’t show you guys lest you want my neck to be all over the place and that wouldn’t be so hijabee, now would it ?But I’m assuming you can see the bow detail peaking beneath the scarf, right? Then there’s the lower part of the dress where I completely went out of my comfort zone and went for this Meshy type of fabric with flower imprints,I added a stiff net beneath it to add a dash of flair to the whole look.I’ve always loved skater dresses but sad part is,long skater dresses never come out good or rather they turn just normal, and I don’t do normal honeys’ *wink,But with this one,I think it came out just fine, and now I can rest knowing that I kind of hacked it! What’s a fancy dress without heels?I guess nothing,I paired the look with this cute number I got from backyard shoes and I was ready to hit the streets.Thank you for stopping by Loves I’m hoping you got inspired and love this look!
